- 01. Infostrada Sports has also extended its partnership with the International Paralympic Committee for another four years until after the 2018 Paralympic Winter Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
- 02. SportBusiness Intelligence, the market intelligence and advisory arm of SportBusiness Group, has launched an events advisory division to develop bidding and hosting strategies for cities and International Federations. Major events veteran, Paul Dunphy, has joined SportBusiness Intelligence as a Major Events Consultant and will provide specialist advice.
- 03. ASOIF is on the lookout for Partners that will help to deliver the next phase of the International Sports Information System project. Over the past 18 months the ISIS database has been collecting vital information in order to create the only existing sporting database with historical results and biographies validated at source by Olympic International Federations. The project is ready to embark on the next stage – the development of the front-end user experience for a variety of clients.
- 04. Contemporary Group, a SportAccord Convention Gold Partner, has announced further major event success with its Canadian entity, Contemporary Security Canada (CSC), being awarded the contract to provide private security services at the Pan/Parapan Am Games to be held in Toronto, Ontario.
